Thulium oxide (Tm2O3)
Thulium oxide is a white to slightly greenish solid with a cubic crystal structure. It is used as a dopant for special phosphors.
Thulium oxide is used, among other things, as an additive in the production of security pigments. It is also used as a scintillator in X-ray intensifying screens, in lightweight components for the aircraft industry and as an additive in the production of electrochemical components such as fuel cells.
