Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach, the founder of Treibacher Industrie AG, invented the flint in 1903. Since then, flints from Treibacher have been the benchmark for quality as well as functionality and a component in branded lighters to this day.
The functionality of our flints relies on selected raw materials and our experience regarding the necessary process parameters. State-of-the-art process technologies enable the tightest dimensional tolerances and thus automated assembly of the lighters at our customers’ premises.
Special shapes for survival lighters or as a component of multifunctional tools round off our product range.
