Lutetium oxide is a white, waster-insoluble powder. Applications include the production of scintillators and phosphors.
Lutetium oxide (Lu2O3) is used primarily in the production of scintillators, as an additive in the production of phosphors, and in the formulation of security inks. However, it is also used as an intermediate in the production of other lutetium compounds or mixed oxides.
