Lanthanum oxide (La2O3)

Lanthanum oxide (La2O3)

Lanthanum oxide (La2O3) is a fine, white to light grey powder and can be used in many applications, such as optical glass, pigments or catalysts.

Lanthanum oxide (La2O3) is used, among other things, as a dopant for catalysts for FC (fluid cracking/crude oil cracking), in the production of phosphors, in the production of optical glass, as a raw material for non-conductive and conductive ceramics, as well as in the production of crystal glass and porcelain glazes. It replaces more toxic lead compounds while at the same time improving chemical resistance (improving alkali resistance, “dishwasher safe”). Our La2O3 is available in different purities from 95% – 99.999%.
