Chromium carbide (Cr3C2) is a high-quality product in powder form for industry. It is a homogeneous powder with high purity and narrow particle size distribution. It is the most commonly produced chromium carbide.
Cr3C2 is used as a grain growth inhibitor for sintering WC/Co carbides, as a hard phase for corrosion-resistant carbides and as a compound for thermal spray powders and hardfacing alloys.
