Glass fusion and polishing agents

Treibacher Industrie AG supplies high-quality rare earth compounds and vanadium chemicals. These are added directly to molten glass in order to achieve particular functional properties.

They are also used directly to process the finished glass:

  • Coloring and decoloring glass and crystal glass
  • UV filter in glass bottles
  • Increasing refraction in the glass
  • Minimizing dispersion in the glass
  • Polishing of flat and crystal glass
  • Polishing of optical glass
  • Manufacturing of mirrors
  • Optical and precision optical components
